Introduction to Mammalian Cell Culture Techniques Workshop is January 26-27th, 2022, 8:30am-12:30pm at the Cancer and Genetics Research Center Room 184.

The UF Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research’s Monoclonal Antibody core is hosting a two-day workshop designed for those new to mammalian cell culture or needing a refresher course on the basics.

The workshop includes informal lectures and hands-on experience. The major topics are: maintaining mammalian cells in culture (aseptic technique, thawing, counting, expanding, freezing) and troubleshooting (rescuing sick cells and recognizing and dealing with contamination).
