DESCRIPTION:Join us for this educational event around Semi-Permeable Capsule Technology and how the UF ICBR Gene Expression and Genotyping Core (GE) can assist with projects for metagenomics\, environmental microbial\, or translational. \nRecent advances in single-cell assays and sequencing workflows have increased the demand for higher-throughput methods that improve sensitivity while maintaining accuracy and resolution in complex biological samples. Although plate-based approaches and droplet microfluidics enable scalable single-cell compartmentalization\, they remain limited by incompatibilities with multi-step workflows and constrained reagent exchange. Atrandi’s semi-permeable capsule (SPC) technology addresses these challenges by enabling scalable multi-step reactions while preserving single-cell resolution and reducing assay and sequencing costs.
