Spatial Transcriptomics Seminar

April 4 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Trekker™ kits, powered by Slide-tag technology, is a cutting-edge spatial omics solution that organizes standard single-cell genomics data within its spatial context. Seamlessly integrating into existing sequencing workflows, Trekker requires no additional equipment. It tags each nucleus in its native tissue environment with unique spatial barcodes, which are read via next-generation sequencing (NGS). This enables bioinformatics reconstruction of each nucleus’s spatial coordinates, generating a true single-cell resolution map—without complex instrumentation, cell-type deconvolution, or segmentation.

Speaker:
Sam Stingley, PhD
Field Applications Scientist

Sam is an experienced Field Application Scientist, with a background in gene expression analysis. He earned his PhD from University of California, Irvine, studying viral/host expression during Herpesvirus infection. Sam worked in support at several genomics companies before joining Takara Bio USA, Inc
