Flow Cytometry Seminar: Basic Principles, Sample Preparation, Panel Design, ScM Talk
November 30, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
This seminar will cover various aspects of flow cytometry. The first topic will be a review of the technology itself, with a focus on the components of the instrument and how signals are collected and interpreted. Attendees will also learn about the incredible discoveries that can be made with flow cytometry. The second topic will cover sample preparation, including different processing methods and staining protocols. Instruction will be provided to ensure optimal cell health and clarity on certain steps of protocols. The third topic will be panel design, discussing the steps necessary for designing a multicolor flow cytometry panel and presenting data illustrating the impact of different choices. This information is relevant for both conventional and spectral flow cytometry. Finally, there will be a talk on ScM.
