Lunch and Learn with Miltenyi Biotec: Tips & Tricks – Generation of quality single cell and nuclei suspensions from tissues and blood

Join Miltenyi Biotec and ICBR on October 10th to explore various methods for optimizing your sample preparation protocols. Miltenyi Biotec’s techniques support a wide range of tissue types, species, and blood products. Miltenyi will demonstrate how to dissociate tissues into single-cell and single-nuclei suspensions using the gentleMACS Octo with Heaters instrument, located in the ICBR Cytometry core. This will be followed by a session on cleaning up those suspensions to remove debris and dead cells. Additionally, Miltenyi will discuss MACS magnetic cell separation, an excellent method for gentle cell isolation that complements flow cytometry and sorting.
