gentleMACS Octo Dissociator with Heaters

The gentleMACS Octo Dissociator with Heaters is a benchtop instrument and offers the possibility of temperature control to reliably obtain viable single cells or intact nuclei from virtually any tissue.

This proven offers the possibility of temperature control, allowing you to heat and cool your samples during sample preparation. Additionally, up to eight samples can be processed either in parallel or sequentially, providing even more flexibility and opening up a wide range of possibilities for your research. The gentleMACS™ Octo Dissociator is fully automated and standardized tissue dissociation or homogenization of up to eight samples.

In addition the instrument allows the user to create user-defined programs for almost any biological material. All eight positions can be operated independently.

Single-cell suspensions or thorough homogenates are easily and reproducibly obtained using the unique C Tubes or M Tubes. These single-use gentleMACS Tubes allow sample preparation in a closed and sterile system, providing a high level of user safety and minimize cross-contamination.

The gentleMACS Octo Dissociator is free to use and can be booked through iLab. However, the columns for the instrument need to be purchased by the user.
