What is Globus?
Globus is an easy-to-use, high-performance data transfer tool developed by the Computation Institute, the University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory. Globus uses a grid-FTP network which uses the power of multiple servers to simultaneously transfer data.
How does ICBR leverage Globus?
Globus allows ICBR to deliver very large data sets to customers in a rapid fashion while ensuring data security and integrity from start to finish.

Option I
Configuring Globus with ICBR as a HiPerGator Account Holder
This document is intended for ICBR customers who are affiliated with the University of Florida and have a HiPerGator account.
Option II
Configuring Globus with ICBR as a UF Affiliate without HiPerGator
This document is intended for ICBR customers who are affiliated with the University of Florida and do not have a HiPerGator account.
