COVID Updates for UF | ICBR

[02/25/22]

Dear ICBR colleagues and customers,

Thank you all for your patience and we continue to navigate an environment impacted by COVID19. Although the light of the end of the tunnel seems to be expanding,  there remains a recognition that we as a community can help mitigate the spread by masking indoors. Because the ICBR and UF Health share work spaces, we will adopt the same masking policy that is implemented within Shands/UF Health. This practice means that everyone within ICBR public spaces must wear a mask or other covering of nose and mouth. However, we are lifting some of restrictions for in-person meetings within ICBR but please reach out to the Core Director for guidance for work on self-service instruments, or visiting ICBR for consultation. We still ask that wherever possible, please keep the numbers low, and ideally limit customer interactions to a single representative of a laboratory for work on self-service instruments. All ICBR spaces are impacted by these procedures, including CGRC, MBI and MCS.

Please accept my personal thanks and sincere appreciation for your compliance; we are all profoundly tired of working under these kinds of constraints, but I believe that it will help all of us navigate this environment in the safest, most productive manner possible.

Many thanks,

Anna-Lisa Paul, Ph.D.

Director, UF | ICBR
