Nadia Brown Joins UF ICBR as Assistant Director of Operations

The University of Florida Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research (ICBR) welcomes Nadia Brown as the Assistant Director of Operations.

Nadia brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in accounting and finance from Kansas State University, and a Master of Science in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences with a financial planning concentration from the University of Florida. Possessing a unique blend of skills that align perfectly with the demands of the role, Nadia, a Certified Research Administrator accredited by the Research Administrators Certification Council, has been at the forefront of UF’s accounting and compliance operations since 2016. Dedication and proficiency have been evident in Nadia’s previous roles, contributing significantly to Contracts and Grants, as well as Research Integrity, Security, and Compliance.

In her new position at ICBR, Nadia will be overseeing, integrating, and managing the comprehensive administrative operations, including business services and communications. As a part of the administration team, Nadia will work closely with the ICBR Director and the Associate Director for Science, playing a pivotal role in shaping the long-term strategic vision that supports the entire UF research enterprise.
